What This Policy Includes:

This policy outlines how www.wchs.health collects information from you, what information is collected, what we will use your data for, and with which third parties your information will be shared. This policy also outlines how you may control the use of your personal information that is collected at www.wchs.health.

Information Collected at www.wchs.health

  • Demographics/Aggregate Statistics – this information is non-personal and does not specifically identify individual users beyond their IP addresses. Information such as IP addresses, date and time of access, duration of use, route of entry used for access, and links accessed while visiting may be collected and used by WCHS to improve the user experience of our website. Specifically, WCHS uses Google Analytics, a product which utilizes information collected from cookies to provide behavioral and statistical information that WCHS will use to better serve website visitors and patients.
  • Cookies in your browser – “Cookies” are small web files that websites send to your browser to save information about your visits. WCHS does not use cookies.
  • Web Beacons – “Web Beacons” are typically used by third parties to monitor the activity of users at a website for the purpose of web analytics or page tagging. We do not use web beacons.

  • Voluntary Surveys – When WCHS conducts surveys on www.wchs.health or through other secure tools they information gathered from individuals is used to help us understand the collective voice of our audience to make informed decisions and improve the experience of those receiving WCHS care. Any information you share in surveys will not be shared with third parties and it will be stored as non-personal data.
  • Mass Communications – When WCHS asks you to provide an e-mail address and phone number it is used to add you to a mass list and send you news, announcements, upcoming events, and health educations tips and other relevant information. If you ever feel you have reach received unexpected or unwanted  communications in these formats please feel free to unsubscribe or "option to select that you would prefer to not receive any future communications from this organization in this manner going forward. Any mass emails you receive will contain an option to "unsubscribe." You can unsubscribe from any mass text messages you receive by replying "STOP."   
  • Contact Information – When WCHS asks you to provide contact information submitted by visitors to www.wchs.health in order to conduct contests for prizes from time to time. The information will be shared with third parties as specified in the contest rules and conditions. If you wish to have your information kept private please contact the e-mail address info@wchs.health. We will assist you to the extent we have not already relied upon your initial authorization to disclose personal information.
  • Related Platforms and Blogs – WCHS operates several social media accounts, these platforms operate as blogs. If you post information any of these sites, you are consenting to your information being shared with the public. WCHS collects personal information from these platforms when users choose to post or engage. This information is used to provide customer service and inform out social media strategy. If you want your information removed from this these platforms moving forward, please unfollow our accounts.  

Who we may share your information with:

We do not collect personal information, the non-personal information demographics, behavioral, and aggregate statistics are used to improve our sites functionality and accessibility. In doing so we may use third party analytics programs such as Google Analytics and possibly others. Please see the websites of the companies offering these products for their privacy policies.

Google Analytics – we utilize the Google Analytics product which gathers aggregate data about users from websites to provide analytical services to website hosts.

Note that WCHS is not responsible for privacy policies of web domains other than www.wchs.health. We cannot control how others use information therefore we cannot guarantee the policy standards of sites we link with or share information with. While we take the privacy of your information seriously and would not share any of your information with anyone we suspect would abuse information, you should consult the privacy policies of listed third party entities to understand how they use information.

How you may control the use of your information collected by www.wchs.health:

Disable Cookies – You may use your browser options to disable the depositing of cookies on your computer. If you do not want cookies on your computer, you are encouraged to utilize your browser function that disables cookies. Disabling cookies will not impact your use of www.wchs.health.

WCHS uses SII encryption to protect all of the information stored in our information systems. Our website, www.wchs.health, is primarily intended for individuals age 13 and older. Our website design and content is not intended to attract or serve individuals under the age of 13. If we are aware that a user is under the age of 13, we do not collect information from that user.
