High Intensity Weight Management Program for Adults.
The "Haisewi-pi-nagu" program or the Path to Good Weight program is a high-intensity medically assisted weight loss program that assists 12 individuals for 9 months starting each February.
With the referral of your primary care physician, the program combines weekly check in appointments with a nurse practitioner to check body composition, medication, consultations about diet, mental health, and exercise to help people learn how to make significant lifestyle changes. The appointments can be schedule on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
This carefully designed this program seeks to help adults lose 10-20% of their body weight cut their risk of developing diabetes in half. With the goal of leading them to the lifestyle changes that will create a diabetes-free future.
Starting in 2022 from February to October, each year these 12 individuals have seen a impressive average loss of 15% of their overall weight! After completing the program, all class graduates are invited to join us for our annual summit celebration.
