Scholarship Fund

The Winnebago Health Foundation awards scholarships to Winnebago Community Members and Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) staff to fill the goal of increasing health care capacity in the Winnebago Community.

The Winnebago Health Foundation stands firmly dedicated to empowering the Winnebago community through education. We are committed to providing scholarships to promising individuals within our community, investing in their future, and supporting their pursuit of knowledge and skills. Our goal is to contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of the Winnebago community by investing in its most valuable asset: its people.

Playground Project

The Winnebago Health Foundation aims to build a playground for the children and families of Winnebago. To this end, it conducted a community-wide survey to gather feedback and help determine the direction of the Land of Wellness Playground Project.

With the help of the schools, community events, and online voters, we have gathered over 400 adult and child surveys about the playground. This data will determine the vision and scope that the foundation will build and fundraise toward.

Master Facility Planning

WCHS assumed ownership of the hospital's building from Indian Health Services, with the goal of improving the facility to better meet the needs of the community. The Master Facility Plan focuses on the strategic lens of a unified health system that serves patients through the continuum of care, including Advanced Primary Care.

The significant investments in facility design and expansion, technology, and constant process improvement will leverage staff efforts to make our shared vision a reality. You can aid in this project by supporting the case today!
