Acute Care is a cornerstone of our Winnebago Care Model designed to empower our patient community by providing seamless, comprehensive care at every stage of their health journey. Our Acute Care services ensure that patients who find themselves in sudden, severe, and/or time-sensitive health conditions that require immediate attention or treatment receive the highest level of intravenous care and support possible.

All of our acute care services are available in some form round-the-clock. When every minute counts, you can trust us to be there supporting your emergent healthcare needs. 

Empowering Patient Health

With acute care services, we combined all intravenous health services with essential support services to create high-functioning emergency and inpatient services that rounds out our health system's continuum of care by enabling us to offer a "no-wrong-door" approach to health.

If you enter our health system:

• on an ambulance through the ER, you can be scheduled to follow up with your primary care providers
• concerned about heart attack symptoms, you can be referred to our wellness facility's personal trainers.
• as an inpatient with an unidentified allergic reaction, you can be referred to our dietitian for consultation.  

Our goal is to addresses both immediate and long-term health needs in a way that empowers patients by making finding the "right resources" to help you get on the "right path" easy.
