There is support. Alcoholics Anonymous, also called A.A. is a simple program that works. It's based on one alcoholic helping another. Alcoholics Anonymous is a global peer-led mutual aid fellowship dedicated to abstinence-based recovery from alcoholism through its spiritually inclined twelve-step program. It is program for living that emphasizes abstinence from alcohol, personal and spiritual growth, and reliance on a higher power.

Have a problem with drugs?

There is support. Narcotic Anonymous, also called N.A. is a simple program that works. Narcotics Anonymous, founded in 1953, describes itself as a "nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem." Narcotics Anonymous uses a 12-step model developed for people with varied substance use disorders and is the second-largest 12-step organization.

Have a loved-one who is an addict? 

There is support. Al-Anon's purpose is to help family and friends of individuals struggling with alcohol misuse. The organization provides a supportive community where members can share experiences and learn strategies to cope with the effects of a loved one’s alcohol use disorder (AUD).an organization was established to complement AA by offering support to the family and friends of individuals struggling with AUD. Al-Anon provides a space for these individuals to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and find mutual understanding and support.
