WCHS Advanced EMT Receives Caring Kind Award

Winnebago, NE – On Friday, October 18th Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System’s Advanced EMT, Cari Hinrickson was awarded the Nebraska Hospital Association’s Caring Kind Award.   
  
For 44 years, the Nebraska Hospital Association has recognized the most caring hospital workers with this award. This prestigious honor shines a light on outstanding healthcare employees who have demonstrated compassion for patients and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities. Nebraska Hospitals are only as compassionate and caring as their employees and select recipients have exemplified the highest levels of these values.   
Her nominator wrote that “Cari Hinrickson has unwavering dedication and commitment to the Winnebago community. She displays all the attributes of someone who is already known as ‘The Caring Kind.’ Our community perseveres because of heroes, like Cari, who already exist among us.”  
   
Hinrickson has proudly provided healthcare services first as a Community Health Representative/EMT and more recently as an Advanced EMT and ALS provider since 2007. She is known to be dependable and outgoing while providing competent, skilled and compassionate care to everyone she encounters. In addition, she happily mentors her coworkers and has provided many hours of on-call services to the community for the EMS Division and will help anyone in need of home visiting services at any moment.
