WCHS Launches WinnHealth Record

Winnebago, NE – February 1st, Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System successfully launched WinnHealth Record, a modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) leveraging cloud technology and AI to keep patient care at the forefront of innovation. WinnHealth Record is a web-based platform designed to enhance experiences and elevate care through improved connectivity, efficiency, and security. 

Launching WinnHealth Record is a significant step forward in streamlining healthcare services and ensuring seamless coordination between providers and their patients. The system prioritizes security of health records, enhances scheduling and appointment reminders, facilitates better communication across departments, and creates a centralized registration process that simplifies return visits and reduces wait times. WinnHealth Record propels WCHS into a new era of digital healthcare, using today’s technology to enhance patient experience and care coordination. 

“This transition allows for significant improvements to WCHS’s functionality, collaboration, automation, security, and patient safety across all services, giving our patients the exceptional healthcare experience they deserve,” explains Austin Schanzenbach, Chief Transformation Officer and Project Lead.  

Throughout the next several months, WCHS will be refining workflows and optimizing the system in the implementation phase. The staff will continue to strive for a seamless transition, they appreciate patients’ patience during this adjustment period. Those with appointments or the ability to call ahead to schedule an appointment in February are encouraged to do so. For the time being, Walk-in/Flex appointments will be limited to those who are sick or with urgent care needs. Please bring updated insurance cards and allow for additional time during visits. As a next step, WCHS will be launching WinnHealth Portal. WinnHealth Portal will be a user-friendly patient portal platform that will empower patients with the ability to view their chart and better manage their healthcare. More information about this patient portal is coming soon!
